When choosing a way to sit, good tall posture that is as comfortable as possible is the priority. By choosing the position that is the least physically distracting you'll more easily become able to relax, and enjoy learning how to meditate. Meditation can bring deep healing, and expansion of awareness, but first one must learn how to relax. Physical relaxation in harmony with best possible posture is a vitally important beginning. Your way of sitting is the foundation that you will build the rest of your practice on. Be solid like a heavy rock, with erect spine and completely relaxed, while remaining deeply focused on your technique, with willingness in your heart, and we believe you will love your daily meditation practice.
